FIELD: polymer production. SUBSTANCE: copolymers are prepared by heterofunctional polycondensation of polyphenylsesquioxane of formula I: <EMI ID=0.323 HE=33 WI=84 TI=CHI> (I), wherein R is phenyl and m= 3-10, with dichloropolydiorganosiloxane of formula <EMI ID=0.324 HE=6 WI=45 TI=CHI>, wherein R' is methyl and phenyl and n=160-250, in organic solvent in presence of hydrogen chloride accepting base added when polycondensation is completed, followed by ageing for 40-80 C.
