<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device capable of improving abrasion resistance of a seal member, without biting in the seal member, even if contamination in oil existing in a pressure chamber or an oil chamber moves to the outer peripheral side by centrifugal force. <P>SOLUTION: This sealing device 1 has an outer peripheral side first seal member 71 arranged in a piston member 3 for reciprocating in the shaft direction in a bottomed cylindrical drum 2 and brought into close contact with the drum 2, and a second seal member 73 arranged on a cancel plate 4 installed on the opening side of the drum 2 oppositely to the piston member 3 and brought into close contact with the piston member 3.
