PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the detaching operability of a toner supply container from a toner supply position and to reduce a cost in a developing device constituted so that the moving direction to the toner supply position from the position of a developing action and the direction of force acting on the developing device when toner is supplied are almost in parallel. SOLUTION: By interlocking with the attaching action of the toner supply container 35 to the toner supply position, the developing device is locked at inclined surface parts 79 and 81 by engaging a lock member 70 with a stopper 102. By interlocking with the detaching action of the container 35 from the toner supply position, the lock of the developing device is released. When the container 35 is set at the supply position, the lock 76 of an opening and closing cover 32 is released after the moving lock of the developing device is actuated. When the container 35 is detached from a supply device, the lock member 70 is released after the lock 76 of the cover 32 is actuated. |
