<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell for restraining degradation of power generating efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell is provided with a power generating body 210 including an electrolyte layer 212 and electrode layers 214, 215, diffusion layers 220, 230 equipped with a flow channel for passing gas through used for power generation and supplying gas to the power generating body, a separator 300 supplying gas to the diffusion layers, a first sealing part 510 formed along an end face of the power generating body, and a second sealing part 520 formed along an end face of the diffusion layers. The fuel cell is so structured that the power generating body, the diffusion layers and the separator are laminated with the diffusion layers arranged at either side of the power generating body, and the separator arranged at a face opposite to a side of the diffusion layers opposed to the power generating body. The first sealing part is provided with an effective seal part constituting a seal for restraining leak of gas outside together with the separator. The second sealing part is formed integrally with the diffusion layers before lamination, so that a laminating face of the power generating body and that of the separator are adhered with each other after the lamination. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
