摘要 Disclosed is a lithium secondary battery having improved lifespan characteristics. More particularly, a lithium secondary battery comprising a cathode, an anode, a separator interposed between the cathode and anode, and an electrolyte, wherein the anode comprises lithium titanium oxide (LTO) as an anode active material, the electrolyte comprises a lithium salt; a non-aqueous-based solvent; and (a) a phosphate compound which can prevent gas generation during high-temperature storage, (b) a sulfonate compound which can reduce discharge resistance by forming a low-resistance SEI layer, or a mixture of the compound (a) and the compound (b), is disclosed.
