PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor having high responding property, high resolution and good performance without causing a fog or a memory phenomenon (afterimage) in image. SOLUTION: In the electrophotographic photoreceptor having a photosensitive layer formed on a conductive substrate, the photosensitive layer has 15 to 35μm film thickness and satisfies formula (I):μ=μ0×En for the carrier mobilityμand the electric field E in the photosensitive layer. In formula (I),μ0 is a constant and n<=0.6.
