Provided is a white light-emitting device which is capable of correcting deviation in chromaticity. The white light-emitting device includes a plurality of pixels. Each of the plurality of pixels is formed from at least two subpixels. Each of the subpixels is a white light-emitting element. At least one subpixel of the at least two subpixels is provided with a colour filter. The optical characteristics of the colour filter are set so as to correct deviation in the chromaticity of light radiated by the white light-emitting element. The white light-emitting device also controls the light-emission intensity of each of the white light-emitting elements.
