PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and promptly delete a WORM part, to heighten reading compatibility, and to realize convenience similar to that of conventional multisession writing or that the conventional multisession writing does not have.

SOLUTION: In a hybrid CD-RW disk 4 wherein a structure of ISO 9660 is previously written in the first session of an exclusively reproducing region 11 and the second session of a rewritable region 12 is previously formatted with a fixed packet (Fixed Packet Format), volume management information (volume descriptors PVD and SVD) in the first session of the exclusively reproducing region 11 is written in the 16-th sector from a starting sector (LBA=N) of the second session of the rewritable region 12 or the subsequent sectors.
