PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission device which determines data communication from a transmission controller and causes no malfunction. SOLUTION: In a transmission device which transmits code information concerning a modulation method between a transmission controller and a transmission high frequency unit; a transmission controller has a QAM processor, an OFDM processor, an analog processor, and a first controller which controls the QAM processor, the OFDM processor, and the analog processor. The transmission high frequency unit has a detector which detects the code information transmitted from the transmission controller, an amplifying portion, and a second controller which controls the amplifying portion.
