PURPOSE:To enable good traveling both in the wet condition and in the snow condition irrespective of the traveling direction by providing straight and bent longitudinal grooves, making a consecutive arrangement of a plurality of parts composing bent transverse grooves in the circumferential direction, and inclining at least one of the parts in the circumferential direction. CONSTITUTION:Longitudinal grooves are arranged on transverse ribs 13 so that the longitudinal grooves may penetrate the transverse ribs and be fully extended, and individual blocks 15,15' are formed thereby. These longitudinal grooves include straight transverse grooves 14 and bent transverse grooves 14', and the bent transverse grooves are composed of some parts, and those parts are arranged in a mutually consecutive manner in the circumferential direction, and at least one of the parts is inclined in the circumferential direction. This arrangement allows obtaining a pneumatic tire which is appropriate for traveling at high speed, having good traveling and braking characteristics both in a wet condition and in a snow condition. |
