PURPOSE:To obtain the subject compsn. capable of removing contaminants such as a rest-proofing oil by washing therewith without damage to a primed part by blending an alkylbenzene with a cyclohexylamine compd. CONSTITUTION:100 pts.wt. alkylbenzene of formula I (R<1> is a linear or branched 4-18C alkyl) is blended with 0.01 pts.wt. cyclohexylamine compd. of formula II [X and Y are H or a group (AO)mH, provided that not both of X and Y and H at the same time; A is 2-3C alkylene; and (m) is 1 to 3] to obtain a non-halogen cleaning agent compsn. According to the foregoing formulation, a combination of a predetermined amt. of the compd. of the formula II with the compd. of the formula I as the solvent component remarkably increases the dissolving power of the latter to widen the kinds of substances soluble therein and removable therewith. The cleaning agent comps. has a high flash point, a low volatility, a low irritant action and an excellent workability, and can remove surface contaminants such as a rust-proofing oil by washing therewith without damage to a primer applied on the surface of a metallic material. |
