PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap while maintaining shading property, capable of improving ventilation property. SOLUTION: This cap has a crown 110 formed of a crown surface fabric 111 of a shading material and a crown reverse surface fabric 112 of a ventilating material, and freeing a prescribed section of the lower edge of the crown surface fabric 111 without sewing with the crown reverse surface fabric 112 so as to introduce outer air from the lower side of the freed part at the lower edge of the crown surface fabric 111 to the gap of the crown surface fabric 111 and crown reverse surface fabric 112.
