The present invention relates to an organic light emitting diode display device and a method for sensing element characteristics thereof. The organic light emitting diode display device comprises: a sensing unit configured to sense element characteristic changes of pixels; and an image analyzing unit configured to analyze an input image to select a sensing location and a sensing interval. Pixels on the sensing location among the pixels are directly sensed by the sensing unit, and element characteristic changes of the remaining pixels are calculated from sensing values of the sensing unit. Therefore, the organic light emitting diode display device can reduce a time, a memory capacity, and the like required for sensing the element characteristic changes of the pixels. |
