<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio transmission apparatus capable of compensating the image component generated from a quadrature modulator in each sub-carrier, while transmitting transmission data, with high accuracy and at a high speed. <P>SOLUTION: A delay control part delays a signal to be supplied to the radio transmission apparatus only by prescribed time. A correction part performs correction by using the delay-controlled signal and a correction value of the image component. An inverse-Fourier transformation part applies inverse-Fourier transformation on the corrected signal. A radio transmission part applies digital/analog conversion on the inverse-Fourier-transformed signal and applies orthogonal modulation and frequency conversion to a radio-frequency band signal. A radio receiving part converts the orthogonal-modulated signal into a baseband signal and applies analog/digital conversion and orthogonal demodulation. A Fourier transformation part applies Fourier transformation on the orthogonal demodulated signal. A correction value calculation part calculates the correction value of the image component from the Fourier-transformed signal, the input transmission signal and the signal corrected by the correction part by numerical calculation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
