<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the operation convenience of portable communication equipment having a demountable antenna. <P>SOLUTION: In conducting pen input by removing the removable antenna from an equipment body, field intensity at the location and the demounting state of the antenna are discriminated. A warning is generated stepwise based on the discrimination result. To improve operability in total darkness, by brightening an input pen at its extreme section, a neighborhood involved in input operation with the pen and the operation section of the equipment body of the other equipment are illuminated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
