PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper piece removing device which can securely remove a paper piece when the paper piece generated in cutting is mixed in a finished paper sheet, and can detect the removed paper piece and notify an operator quickly.SOLUTION: A paper piece detecting device includes at least: paper piece removing means which is arranged above and/or below a conveyer for conveying a paper sheet after cutting and uses a scraping member and/or air to a front surface and/or a rear surface of an entire paper; means of dropping and collecting the paper piece removed by the paper piece removing means below the conveyer; means which is arranged on a bottom part opening part of the collecting means and places the paper piece; and means which is arranged inside the collecting means or in an adjacent external having an imaging window on a side wall of the collecting means, compares a value measured on a dust collection filter optically, and a previously-set measurement value of the dust collection filter without a paper piece, and detects the paper piece.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
