PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a throttle valve capable of suppressing erroneous determination of failure of a throttle valve.SOLUTION: A control device of a throttle valve includes: opening/closing means for opening and closing a throttle valve by a motor; a throttle opening sensor for detecting an opening of the throttle valve; full-close learning means for learning an opening value detected by the throttle opening sensor as a full-close opening when the opening of the throttle valve is minimized; target opening setting means for setting a target opening of the throttle valve in executing a fuel cut operation in a flatland as a first target opening, and setting a target opening of the throttle valve 5 in executing the fuel cut operation in a highland as a second target opening smaller than the first target opening; and failure determination means for not executing failure determination of the throttle valve when the opening value detected by the throttle opening sensor or the target opening of the throttle valve is smaller than or equal to a prescribed failure determination execution threshold value, which is set to the first target opening or smaller and the second target opening or greater.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
