PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigeration device suitable for a power-saving cooling operation.SOLUTION: An air conditioning system 1 includes: a compressor 11 and a first outdoor heat exchanger 13 installed outdoors; an indoor heat exchanger 31 installed indoors and configuring a first refrigerant circuit RC1 with the compressor 11 and the first outdoor heat exchanger 13; a second outdoor heat exchanger 21 installed outdoors and configuring a second refrigerant circuit RC2 with the indoor heat exchanger 31; and a controller 50. The controller 50 switches an ordinary cooling operation for driving the compressor 11 to circulate a refrigerant in the first refrigerant circuit RC1 and a power-saving cooling operation for stopping the compressor 11 to circulate the refrigerant in the second refrigerant circuit RC2 by utilizing an installation height difference between the second outdoor heat exchanger 21 and the indoor heat exchanger 31, according to a situation.
