PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a color image at high speed on a display section, without increasing a memory size and without enhancing performance of a CPU. SOLUTION: A display image is divided into a black and white display data (monochrome two digits graphic data) and an area color data (a color area data) and stored in a storage section 11. When user's instruction is received, a control section 10 reads the black and white display data and the area color data stored in the storage section 11, and transfers them to an operation panel 13 via a transfer section 12. Based on the black and white display data and the area color data transferred from the transfer section 12, a display data conversion section 14 of the operation panel 13 designates RGB data for each one dot unit of the display section 15, and creates a color graphic data as a final display data.
