Irradiation instrument

The instrument includes a microwave generator which produces a defined radiation through surface-increased fluorescent lamps or an arrangement of small fluorescent lamps. The radiation is supplied over a suitable conductor system to radiation applicators which direct the radiation to the object to be irradiated. Radiation filters are preferably inserted between the microwave generator and the radiation applicators, whereby several objects are irradiated independently of each other by a single microwave generator.
