PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the quality of an ultrasonic image by processing the image using characteristics of an original image. SOLUTION: This ultrasonic image processing apparatus processes a plurality of signals which are generated based on signals obtained by scanning a subject inside using ultrasonic beams and show values of a plurality of pigments constituting the ultrasonic image. This apparatus includes a morphology processing section 56 processing the plurality of signals to reduce speckles appearing on the ultrasonic image, and a DSC (Digital Scan Converter) 58 converting the scanning format of the signals processed by the morphology processing section 56.
