PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blade drive device for a camera improved in assembly workability. SOLUTION: The drive device 1 for the camera includes: a substrate 10 having an aperture 15; blades 20a-20c openably supporting the aperture 15; and a drive ring 30 for transmitting drive force supplied from a drive source to the blades by being rotatably supported relative to the substrate 10. The drive device includes: a main support part 13 for supporting the drive ring 30 by being slid on a part of the drive ring 30; projections 31a-31c for suppressing the drive ring 30 from being inclined by being separated from the main support part 13 during assembling working, and auxiliary support parts 11a-11c.
