<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a favorable electro-optical display device and its manufacturing process. <P>SOLUTION: A front plane laminate 10 being useful for the manufacture of the electro-optical display device is provided with a light transmission electrical conductive layer 14, an electro-optical medium layer 16 connected electrically with the electrical conductive layer 14, an adhesive layer 26, and a peeling sheet 28 arranged in this order. This front plane laminate 10 can be prepared as a continuous web and is cut to a certain size, the peeling sheet 28 is removed, and the laminate 10 is laminated on a backplane to manufacture the display device.
