PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent discharge of a lubricating oil to the outside, lower an oil circulating rate and prevent seizure of a bearing. SOLUTION: A fluid machine is furnished with an electric motor, a rotary shaft 105 to which torque is transmitted from the electric motor and a bearing (main bearing) 171 to support the rotary shaft 105 free to rotate and is provided with a ring cylindrical cover (splashed lubricating oil outflow preventive means) 20 positioned between the electric motor and the bearing 171 and to cover a circumference of the rotary shaft 105.
