PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system in which a user accesses a Web site without inputting a URL from an Internet terminal. SOLUTION: This system simplifies a URL in a portal site on the Internet. When a user who wants to access a specific Web site inputs an address starting with a language character string followed by a number string into a portal site, a server in a portal site recognizes the language character string as a category, draws out and accesses the URL of the Web site belonging to the category registered beforehand with the number string. Thereby, the user can access the desired Web site only by memorizing the language character string which is easy to be memorized and the short number string following it without memorizing the URL.
