<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a proton transporting material having excellent proton transporting property by setting phase transition temperature at 200°C or below to make the sulfonic group hard to leave and setting to express a crystal phase at low temperature, and having an excellent mechanical property, especially suitable for electrolyte membrane of fuel cell, and to provide a use and raw material for producing the proton transporting material. <P>SOLUTION: The problem is solved by the proton transporting material obtained by mixing a sulfonic acid type liquid crystal polymer material and a material having a phosphonic acid group as indispensable materials. The proton transporting material which has been prepared by adding and mixing a material having a mesogenic group and a phosphonic acid group with a specific molecular structure to a sulfonic acid type liquid crystal polymer material having a mesogenic group and a specific molecular structure, is preferred. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
