POSITIVE ELECTRODE MATERIAL FOR LITHIUM SECONDARY BATTERY, ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD, AND LITHIUM SECONDARY BATTERY USING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive electrode material for a lithium secondary battery using a divanadium pentoxide gel having a specific shape and physical property so as to improve cycle characteristics, to provide the manufacturing method, and to provide the lithium secondary battery using it.

SOLUTION: By spray-drying a sol solution of divanadium pentoxide, the positive electrode material for the lithium secondary battery which is a divanadium pentoxide hydrated gel expressed by a formula (1) V2O5-nH2O (0αbeam is 3.0° or more and of which 90% undersize integration distribution D90is 15 μm or less is fabricated, and the lithium secondary battery equipped with a positive electrode using this positive electrode material is constituted.
