PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing line guide and a fishing rod capable of reducing the occurrence of cracks, breakage, and others at a holding section, a leg section, and a bent joint in the boundary between the leg and foot sections even in a case of receiving a moment.SOLUTION: A fishing line guide and a fishing rod include: a guide ring 6 for forming an insertion hole 6A for inserting a fishing line; and a metal guide body 7 for holding the guide ring 6. The guide 7 is made up of: a holding part 7a for holding the guide ring 6; a foot part 7c to be attached to a rod body; and a leg part 7b formed between the holding part 7a and the foot part 7c. A reinforcement body 8 made of fiber reinforced resin formed by having a resin impregnated into a reinforced fiber featuring a higher tensile elasticity than that of the guide 7 is applied on the inner surface facing with the center of curvature for a bend connection part 7d that links the leg part 7b and the foot part 7c. |
