MOLD PLATEN, CLAMPING DEVICE USING THE SAME, AND INJECTION MOLDING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain high rigidity of a mold platen, to suppress aperture of a contact surface of a fixed mold and a movable mold on the occasion of clamping and also to make the mold platen light in weight, and besides to provide a clamping device using this high-rigidity lightweight mold platen, and an injection molding machine. SOLUTION: The mold platen is constituted by a method wherein a platen body 10 is provided with a projecting part 16 having a fixing end face 17 connected to a connecting face 23a of a mold fixing member 11 and wherein radial ribs 20 of the main body are provided between the outer peripheral surface 16a of the projecting part 16 and the lateral wall 14 of the body. The clamping device uses the mold platen as a fixed platen 2 and a movable platen 3. The injection molding machine is constituted by fitting this clamping device. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
