ANTIOXIDANT NANODIAMOND, METHOD OF PREPARING THE SAME AND COMPOSITION COMPRISING THE SAME

The present invention relates to an antioxidant nanodiamond which has antioxidant materials attached to the surface or mixed therewith, a method of preparing the same, and a composition comprising the same. The present invention can provide a nanodiamond which is prepared from attaching antioxidant materials to the surface of nanodiamond having a particle size of 2-100 nm as single particles or in clusters. Also, the antioxidant diamond of the present invention can be dispersed uniformly in compositions such as cosmetic ingredients and thus can be commercialized. The antioxidant diamond of the present invention is a nano-sized particle which easily penetrates the skin or, when other antioxidant materials are attached to the surface of the nanodiamond, allows the other antioxidant materials to last for longer periods of time or long enough to penetrate the skin such that the antioxidant materials penetrating the skin are effectively transported and preserved.
