<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite IC card and an IC module for the composite IC card of which reliability is fully secured as the composite IC card and the IC module for the composite IC card, by preventing malfunction even when the composite IC card is driven by a contact type interface or by a non-contact type interface, in the composite IC card having the contact type interface and the non-contact type interface, and the IC module for the composite IC card. <P>SOLUTION: While a composite IC card (300) is communicating with an external device (200) via either a contact type interface (401) or a non-contact type interface (400), the IC module monitors status signals from the contact type interface (401) and the non-contact type interface (400); determines whether the result of monitoring indicates the status signals change from the preliminarily stored status signals from the contact type interface (401) and the non-contact type interface (400); and stops communication with the external device (200) when the status signals change. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
