PURPOSE:To guide a car to a proper land and improve visibility by indicating simultaneously the information on the closest branch from the self-car based on the received output of a receiver means and the information on at least the next branch in the specified direction. CONSTITUTION:If a receiver 3 judges the reception of wave EW from a road side transmission station 1, CPU 10 judges the quantity of branch information. When information on a plurality of branches is judged to be received, an indicator 9 is driven and controlled to simultaneously indicate the information on the closest branch K1 from the self-car and the information on the next branch K2 on the driving lane of the self-car. At this time, the information on point K1 is indicated larger. Then, based on the signal from a driving lane discrimination deice 6, the driving lane of the self-car is recognized. The information on the next branches K2 (straight), K3 (left), K4 (right) are indicated small. When the car reaches the point K1, the driving direction of the self-car is detected from the signal of the discrimination device 6 including flashers and the next branch information corresponding to the direction is indicated large. |
