PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-in-oil type external composition for skin which can deliver the active ingredient included in an aqueous phase into epidermis keratinocytes efficiently.SOLUTION: The invention provides a water-in-oil emulsification external composition for skin containing at least one or more kinds of surfactants selected from a polyhydric alcohol fatty acid ester of a polyhydric alcohol and a fatty acid ester, and silicone based surfactant, wherein the polyhydric alcohol is selected from polyethylene glycol, butylene glycol (poly), propylene (poly), polyglycerol, and sorbitan; and the surfactant, as a particular surfactant, has an HLB of 8-12 and has adsorption to a melanin cap affected by lipid peroxides existing in an epidermis keratinocyte.EFFECT: As an active ingredient, particularly a whitening component is preferable, and such an external composition for skin is suitable for a whitening application.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
