PURPOSE:To stabilize the shape from the bead heel of a tire to the bead toe thereof, in a tire mold having a bead molding part, by providing a ring-shaped projection whose outer peripheral diameter is larger than the inner peripheral diameter of the bead toe of a completed tire to the bead molding part. CONSTITUTION:By providing a ring-shaped projection 1-b whose outer peripheral diameter d1 is larger than the inner peripheral diameter of the bead toe of a completed tire to the bead molding part 1-a of a tire mold 1, even when there is a volumetric change in the material of a green tire 2, the bead shape within the range closely brought into contact with a wheel inclusive of the bead toe is stabilized. That is, when the volume of the green tire 2 is large, the protrusion of a bead leading end part is prevented and a profile wherein the bead leading end part is sharp is kept. When the volume of the green tire 2 is small, said volume is almost same as the case of proper volume but the rubber of the bead part is pushed by the pressure in a bladder to flow to the sharp leading end part of the mold 1 to prevent the sinking of the bead toe part. |
