<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for protecting a power system capable of easily, speedily and surely changing the setting, when a bus bar connection protective relay is substituted. <P>SOLUTION: The system for protecting a power system stores, in advance, in the bus bar connection protective relay 25 the relay characteristics and setting values of a plurality of protective relays 26-29, corresponding to a plurality of power transmission facilities 14L1-15L2, for which there is possibility of substitutive protection. When one of the protective relay 29 is in a locked state, where a breaker 23 of the corresponding power transmission facility 15L2 cannot be opened, the bus bar connection protective relay 25 is set to the relay characteristics and the setting values stored, in advance, corresponding to the protective relay 29 in the locked state by a control monitoring device 40 via a communication means 39; and the power transmission facility 15L2, corresponding to the protective relay 29 in the locked state, is substitutively protected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
