PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reducing emissions in a gas turbine engine. SOLUTION: In the gas turbine engine 10, a swirling flow is generated with a first oxygen source and a first fuel within a combustor 14, and the first fuel is burned using the first oxygen source to produce combustion products within the combustor 14. A swirling flow is generated with a second oxygen source and a second fuel and mixed with the combustion products, and the second fuel is burned using the second oxygen source to produce second combustion products within the combustor 14.
