PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an applicator for thermotherapy with which especially widespread diseased lesions can be easily heat treated. SOLUTION: With respect to the applicator for thermotherapy which is inserted into a living body and emits microwave from its antenna 23 to lesions in the living body for warming them, an applicator mantle tube 2 and an applicator inner needle 3 which is inserted into it and has the antenna 23 are provided. The applicator inner needle 3 is movable in the direction of the long axis with respect to the applicator mantle tube 2 and can be held in at least two positions in the direction of the long axis.
