An optical disc device is provided with an optical pickup device and a control section for controlling operation of the optical pickup device. The optical pickup device is provided with a plurality of first wirings for transmitting a signal from the control section, and a second wiring for adjusting the optical pickup device, and a connector section electrically connected with the first wirings. Furthermore, the optical disc device is provided with a flexible printed wiring board (FPC) connected to the connector section and electrically connects the first wirings with the control section. The FPC is provided with a plurality of third wirings for electrically connecting the first wirings with the control section. The pitch of the third wirings at the center portion of the FPC is wider than the pitch of the third wirings in an area adjacent to the connector section on the FPC. The connector section is electrically connected with the second wiring, and the FPC connected with the connector section electrically connects the first wirings with the control section but not the second wiring with the control section.
