PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring apparatus capable of obtaining a naturally corrected image. SOLUTION: When an input video signal is supplied to a visibility correction portion 21, a dark pixel with low intensity value in the input video signal is corrected so that it may become a bright pixel with comparatively high intensity value, and a video signal after correction is supplied to a noise measurement portion 22. A frame difference acquisition portion 31 calculates a difference absolute value between an intensity value of corresponding pixels between frames, respectively. A histogram formation portion 32 forms a histogram, statistical data for computing a noise amount, based on data outputted from the frame difference acquisition portion 31.
