In order to provide an attractive multipurpose electronic signboard system having high advertising efficiency and high advertising impact, the present invention is provided with an electronic signboard body (1) for displaying an advertisement and a camera device (2) for photographing a candidate audience member (K) for the advertisement near the electronic signboard body (1). The present invention is further provided with: a data-storage unit (5) in which audience-member-layer data categorizing images of people targeted by the advertisement and advertising data associated with the audience-member-layer data are inputted in advance and stored; and an information processor (3) having an audience-member certification/advertising-selection means for receiving video image data from the camera device (2), determining the audience-member-layer data to which the photographed candidate advertising audience member (K) corresponds, selecting advertising data associated with the audience-member-layer data matching the determined audience-member-layer data, and displaying the selected advertising data on the electronic signboard body (1). |
