INK JET PILE PRINTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To draw complex and fine patterns with clear pattern peripheries on a thick pile fabric by ink jet printing with solving grinning in which uncolored pile fibers appear from spaces among piles. SOLUTION: The ink 12 is printed to a pile surface in a water-holding state by ink jet method by adding priming water 11 to a pile fabric having≥3 mm pile length and≥0.05 g/cm3fiber bulk density of a pile layer, adding supplementary water 13 to the printed surface of the ink 12 in the water-holding state with the priming water 11, diluting the ink 12 spread and adhered to spaces among the pile fibers 14, 14 of the pile layer with the supplementary water 13 to form a mixed ink and fixing coloring components of the ink 12 to the pile fiber 14 by heating.
