PURPOSE: A device for lifting a rolling roller of a rolling mill for steelworks is provided to easily repair a sensor, and to exactly control the location of a pressing cylinder. CONSTITUTION: A device for lifting a rolling roller of a rolling mill for steelworks comprises a pressing cylinder(100), a lifting plate(200), and a sensing part(300). The pressing cylinder has a cylinder body(110), a cylinder rod(120), and a rod cover(130). A protrusion(131) is formed in the inner circumference of the rod cover. A sealing member(132) is formed in the inner circumference of the rod cover. Multiple coupling protrusions(210,220) are formed in both sides of the lifting plate. The sensing part has a sensor case(310), a lifting rod(320), a ring magnet(330), and a sensor(340). A receiving groove(321) for accepting a sensing rod(341) is formed inside of the lifting rod. A piston(322) is formed in the bottom of the lifting rod.
