A method for manufacturing a moisture preserving sponge. The moisture preserving sponge is made by using wood pulp and/or bamboo pulp as main raw materials. The manufacturing method comprises the steps of soaking, squeezing, aging, yellowing, preparation of a viscose material, heating, and foaming molding; after the sponge is cut into blocks and washed, blocky sponge products are manufactured; after washing, the blocky sponge products are allowed to fully absorb a magnesium chloride solution, so that the blocky sponge products contain a magnesium chloride solution with a concentration of 10%-15%; then, excess magnesium chloride solution is squeezed out through squeezing or compressing, and finally blocky sponge products containing a magnesium chloride solution with a concentration of 34%-46% is obtained. The temperature of the magnesium chloride solution absorbed by the blocky sponge products ranges from 32°C to 38°C. The washing process comprises strong salt washing with a weak salt, acid washing for neutralizing the salt, and bleaching washing with a decolorizer. The moisture preserving sponge has the advantages of being easy to manufacture and reliable in the manufacturing process, capable of maintaining a certain moisture content and the like. |
