LUBRICATION STRUCTURE OF DIFFERENTIAL GEAR CASE FOR FINAL REDUCTION GEAR

PURPOSE:To improve lubricity and durability of a differential gear by improving the structure of a differential gear case and increasing an amount of oil flowing in the differential gear case. CONSTITUTION:A wall having a hollow annulus ring part 42 having a gap is formed on the outer periphery in a radial direction of the sleeve part 41 of a differential gear case 4. The outer end B1 of the wall is positioned at the side end part 81a of the outer ring 81 of a side bearing 8. The side bearing 8 and an oil reservoir 11 partitioned by a regulation nut 10 to regulate and fix the side bearing are intercommunicated through a gap between rollers of which the side bearing consists. The inside diameter B2 on the side bearing side of the wall is small and that on the pinion gear side is large, the gap forms an oil passage, and an oil hole 14 from which oil is caused to flow in the differential gear case 4 is formed in a spot where the wall and the differential gear case 4 cross each other.
