The invention relates to a communication system for a vehicle (8). Said system comprises a first bus (10) to which devices (12, 16, 18) coupled to the vehicle (8) are connected. Said devices are arranged in such a way that they exchange data, via the first bus (10), between each other and/or with a control system (14) which is connected to the first bus (10). A second bus (22) having a high speed of transmission is provided, a communication interface (26) which co-operates with a wireless teletransmission device (28) and a bus interface (24) being connected to said second bus. Said communication interface (26) is arranged in such a way that it exchanges data with a separate station (46) via the teletransmission device (28), the bus interface (24) is also connected to the first bus (10) and is arranged in such a way that it transmits data from the first bus (10) to the second bus (22) and vice versa, and the second bus (22) is connected to a computer interface (32) for the connection of a computer (34). |
