<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting position determination device of a coordinate detection device designating a position for mounting the coordinate detection device without requiring a complicated operation from a user, and to provide an electronic board system. <P>SOLUTION: The mounting position determination device includes a means for determining a position for mounting the coordinate detection device on the basis of a change amount of position coordinate data from an input start point to an input end point during tracing an optional graphic displayed in a projection surface, such as a white board by a projector with an electronic pen.
