PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide relaxation effects when a bathing person horizontally lays the body. SOLUTION: The bathtub has a bed-shaped bathtub 11 whose water depth is not more than 10 cm so that the bathing person can horizontally lay the body, and a hot water storage tub 21 disposed along the side edge in the longitudinal direction of the bed-shaped bathtub. The bed-shaped bathtub 11 has a bottom and a side wall, and the height of the side wall 14 or the size and number of drains on the side wall or the bottom are set so that the maximum water depth is not more than 10 cm. The horizontally laid body is completely relaxed as the back side is warmed while the muscles of the whole body are relaxed, feeling a little sense of floating with hot water. Since the water pressure applied to the body is very small, no load is applied to the heart or lungs, and the blood warmed by hot water is circulated in the whole body.
