PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner formed in a manner to reduce the number of parts to effect covering for the notch of a rear face plate and to improve a mechanical strength, in an air conditioner formed that piping for intercoupling an indoor heat exchanger and an outdoor heat exchanger is situated at the back of a rear plate. SOLUTION: In the air conditioner that piping 36a and 36b, etc., are disposed to intercouple the indoor heat exchanger and the outdoor heat exchanger through the upper part on one side of a casing body rear plate 30 of the indoor unit of the air conditioner, a U-shaped corner cover 40 to cover a portion extending from the upper corner part of the rear plate 30, through which the piping, a drain pipe, and wiring pass to a side and a lower corner is removably mounted on the rear plate. |
