PURPOSE: A multi-polar connector is provided to efficiently transmit a high-speed differential signal. CONSTITUTION: A housing(2) is made of an insulating material, and one external terminal is adjacent to a pair of terminals at a second interval(B). A hollow portion(5) is formed inside the opening, and a terminal support base(6) and a terminal support unit(7) are integrated with the housing. Four angle units(8) protrude from the lower portion of a shield case(4) downwardly. At the both lateral sides of the terminal support units, a side wall portion(17) which produces higher than a contact portion(9) is formed.
