<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a positive electrode active material which is superior in conductivity and superior in fillability and dispersing properties to resin, and has an excellent coating property to a sheet. <P>SOLUTION: The positive electrode active material is composed of: a polyanionic compound; and carbon obtained by heat-treating a composite within a range of the temperature of 400°C or more under reduction atmosphere to carbonize a resin included in the composite which has been made by using the polyanionic compound and a thermosetting phenol resin of 0.01 to 30 wt.% or a thermosetting epoxy resin of 0.01 to 30 wt.% against the polyanionic compound. In the positive electrode active material for a secondary battery, the total amount of carbon in a particle is 2.0 to 15 wt.%, the crystallite size of the polyanionic compound is 1 to 1,000 nm, and the average particle diameter (D50) of the positive active material is 1.0 to 30 μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
